Fisher & Paykel DishDrawer® Review - DD60DCX6
April 20, 2010
Introduction
The practicality of the Fisher & Paykel DishDrawer® makes it a clear winner for the home dishwasher. Comprising two independent drawers, the dishwasher can be loaded and run in a very versatile manner, which I believe, is a very important consideration for the average user.
Using
The dishwasher has been used in a typical home environment for in excess of a couple of months. These are results of my experiences.
Configuration
Both drawers are identical, and I found that I had to remove the two fold out shelves at the right hand side of the lower drawer to allow my large dinner plates to fit in properly. I use the left hand side of the lower drawer for large items such as pots.
Washing
It seems to clean as well as any other dishwasher I have used. It is very easy to change between the various program cycles - I often use a faster cycle with the economy option for the top drawer which I put my smaller plates, cups and a lot of the cutlery. I usually use the normal cycle without the economy option for the bottom draw where I put pots, large plates, cutting boards and other utensils.
Reliability
No problems so far (but it is only a few months old).
